About Michelle

Counselor | Ceremonialist | Cavelorist

Michelle Rigling is a Counselor and Guide who specializes in Transpersonal Psychology and Nature-Centered Wellness. She is devoted to preserving and protecting the spiritual, ecological, and mythological lives of caves - both the inner sanctuary within each of us as well as the natural caves of Mother Earth.

Michelle knows that embracing our unique gifts and individual path may require traversing through some uncharted territory and dark nights. In the process of becoming fully ourselves, we must break free of conditioning, limiting beliefs, fear and shame, society's definition of success, and sometimes even our own outdated expectations.

Nature immersion, ceremonial journeying, dreamwork, intuitive practices, meditation, and ritual are all tools Michelle weaves into her work while supporting those who are seeking a meaningful, purposeful, and wildly authentic life.

Professional Bio & Background

Michelle's work is the culmination of over 14 years of professional social work, continuous education in trauma-informed mental health, years of nature-centered spiritual and wellness event planning, and a direct call from Spirit to walk the path of "The Cavewoman", a journey that continues to unfold in synchronistic and unexpected ways. She devotes time each year to continued education in neuropsychology and trauma-informed counseling, as well as advancing her skills as a ceremonialist through trainings and apprenticeships.

“We are travelers on a cosmic journey, stardust, swirling and dancing in the eddies and whirlpools of infinity. We have stopped for a moment to encounter each other, to meet, to love, to share. This is a precious moment.” -Paulo Coelho, The Alchemist

Testimonials

"We have a tendency to put up shields to protect ourselves, but in any setting with Michelle, I have always found a group of women who are willing to set those aside. The moments we have shared have been raw; whether they were moments of joy, sadness, excitement, or anger, and we have found a place where we can let our guard down and connect to others as our authentic selves." LG

"Michelle asks questions I would have never thought to ask myself." -LB

"Michelle, you speak to the parts of us no one else speaks to. You help us remember, then you sing the song that brings us back to life." TE

"Michelle's gatherings have given me a safe and supportive space to feel like I can be 100% authentic and not be judged. I am welcomed as I am. Sharing my experiences with others that understand me has been cathartic and healing. These gatherings fill my cup o I can be more for my family and others. They are acts of self-love." -AG

"Let us push on now, and remember ourselves back to the wild soul." -Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estés
