The Mushroom Cave Micro-Apothecary follows a unique consultation model.
You pay $40 and receive a brief Amanita muscaria consultation with Dr. Michelle Rigling (or a pre-recorded video, if you prefer). A 15g microdosing tea kit or a 1 oz extract is included with your consultation. Most people find that either of these options provide enough medicine to support 4-6 weeks of microdosing depending on the chosen protocol.
After your order is submitted, your tea kit or extract will ship within a few days. You can schedule your consultation at your own convenience simply by emailing us. We can meet via email, phone or zoom OR you can opt to receive a pre-recorded video addressing safety and common questions.
Each of these medicines are priced at $40+ from comparable medicine makers. With our approach, you receive a quality microdosing medicine plus support for your journey!

Can I order multiple products?
Yes! Simply increase the quantity if you want more than one of the same medicine OR add additional consultations to your cart and select other forms of the medicine. You do not have to use all of our consultations, however you'll have them in case you ever need support.
Is a consultation required?
No. You will be asked if you would like a consultation or a pre-recorded informational video when you checkout and those who are not interested in a conversation can opt to receive this alternative way of receiving support and resources.
When should I schedule my consultation?
Anytime you want. You can schedule it immediately after placing your order or you can wait a few weeks.
How do I schedule my consultation?
Just email us! Consultation dates and times are based on my availability and we cannot guarantee any specific date or time.
Is Amanita muscaria legal?
Amanita muscaria is not regulated or scheduled as a drug in the United States at the federal level. However, it is illegal in Louisiana and for this reason we will not ship to Louisiana addresses.
Is Amanita muscaria an alternative to psilocybin?
Amanita muscaria should not be considered as a convenient alternative to psilocybin. Each of these mushrooms contain distinctively different psychoactive compounds, risk factors, dosage ranges and reported benefits. The experiences are also quite different.
