Even the wild woman needs time to rest and recharge.

Inspired by the story of La Loba from Women Who Run with the Wolves, this retreat is The Cavewoman Way's signature annual event. Not only will we share the story of La Loba around the fire, we will dive into the themes of the myth and reconnect with our own inner "wolf woman" through writing and ritual. This end-of-winter retreat, on the Eve of the Spring Equinox, will give us the opportunity to rekindle our creative fire, reflect on the winter season, and consider what we want to bring with us into the season of growth and new beginnings.

Our Wolf Moon Retreat offers a small group of women the opportunity to come together for an intimate experience at one of our favorite cave destinations: the beautiful Pickett State Park. Each year, we find new ways to embody La Loba's story, making this gathering a yearly tradition for some and a once-in-a-lifetime experience for others. With only 12 spots, this event usually fills up quickly.

"Climb up to the cave. Crawl through the window of a dream. Sift through the desert and see what you find... Go gather bones."

-Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estés
