Council of Renewal

A Nature-Based Soul Care Immersion

March 20 - 23, 2025

Talking Rock, GA

*8 Spots*

"Lay an offering of time at your own feet.

Collect some kindling of should and constraints

and construct a pyre on which to burn your shame.

Watch it ignite and drift away into smoke

and return to the flowers."

~ Molly Remer

Excerpt, Council of Renewal

What does rest and renewal for the soul look like?

How do we nourish and enliven the mystical, wise one within when our lives are filled with noise, distractions, and constant demands?

What is sacred rest and why is it an essential part of the mystic's journey?

What can Nature teach us about living a wilder, more soulful life?

How do we rewild rest?

"What in your life is calling you? When all the noise is silenced, the meetings adjourned, the lists laid aside, and the wild iris blooms by itself in the dark forest, what still pulls at your soul?  In the silence between your heartbeats hides a summons... do you hear it?” — Rumi

Activity Descriptions

La Loba Fire Council

A ceremonial council is a form of soulful sharing and sacred listening, offering time to tell our stories as well as practice holding space for one another. Guided by the La Loba / Wolf Woman story, we will come into council around our opening fire to reflect, deeply listen, and set intentions for our time together.

Cavewoman Cacao Ceremony

Cacao is a sacred medicine that opens the heart, warms the body, calms the mind, and nourishes the spirit. She can support us in sharing our story, being open to wisdom, and tuning into our intuition. We will weave this ancient ritual into the tapestry of our Wild Woman evening as we deepen into the story of La Loba and start to reconnect with the wild within.

Wolf Woman Oracle Writual

The trailblazer. The misunderstood. The wild heart. The outcast. Which wolf archetype will you connect with during our writing ritual (writual)? Together we'll explore the Wolf Woman Oracle Deck (created by our retreat host!) and listen to our own wild voices, primal longings, and deep wisdom through guided visualization and journaling.

Wolf Medicine Walk

A Medicine Walk is an invitation to directly commune with the wild through wandering, tracking, and slowing down to deeply listen to the voice of Nature. You may hear messages from plants or trees, receive wisdom from a wild animal or mushroom, or encounter a portal that takes you deeper into your own soul. This sacred practice is hundreds of years old; we join many generations of wanderers and wild ones as we step into our own Walk.

WolfSkin Storytelling

Weaving story, myth, and our own experiences we'll gather around a closing fire for a reflection, visioning, and bold intentions for the return home. We'll explore the ways we can bring a little magic back to our family and community as well as keep the Wolf Woman alive in our everyday lives.
